My family (Beinke) arrived on the Gellert. They tied up against another boat, the Beckerath, also from Bremen, which had arrived three days earlier. Access to the shore was via a plank between the two boats. If anyone is a Beinke decendant, and would like to know more about our ancestors, please don't hesitate ro reach out.
