I wish people would STOP privatizing names on their family trees. It is very annoying when you are trying to search a family tree. You can't connect that person to other family members when you are doing a complete family tree. Just doesn't make sense to me .
Betty, I used to think the same, but maybe you wouldn't or shouldn't want to connect to those trees who 'privatise' themselves; it's kinda like Mother Nature's way of saying "Don't Touch!"
Geni doesn't show living people within the last 150 years. If over 150 years it should be made Public and Geni can hrlp with that. Even when I go to your profile, everyone is private,as well as mine and everyone living. At the link below, clicking on the privacy hyperlink and it will explain Geni's privacy policy and how to work around it.
