Frederick Genthe died in a gun powder mill explosion along with two other maintenance men on Saturday February 24,1900. Also killed in the explosion was his Brother-in-Law William Henry Rottiger, my Great Grand Father. A third man died but was not mentioned by name in my Great Aunts telling.
