Geni has linked my family to the wrong family.
I do not believe Lemuel Thayer born 1743-44, descendant of Thomas Thayer, to be linked to my family. I don’t believe that Lemuel, 1744 married Charity Manley, but rather a women by the name of Abigail born around 1750.
Lemuel Thayer born 1760 descendant of Nathaniel Thayer, and married 1781-82 to Charity Manley born 1763 does link with my family and the Taunton, Mass. Thayer’s
