In 1933, Gedeon Steinhausz sent photos of paintings of Steinhaus / Steinhausz family ancestors to his daughter Gizella in the United States.
Each photo was mounted on board, and on the back of each board were his handwritten notes about that ancestor, including in some cases dates and places of birth, marriage, and/or death. The black and white photo and accompanying notes is from that collection.
