Greetings from Australia.
My great grandfather was a Chinese dentist, Law Maurice. He worked for Dr. Stroud in Port Elizabeth in the 1870's. I'm hoping someone may have some information about Law Maurice. I have found several newspaper advertisements announcing that Law Maurice was visiting places such as Graaff Reinet for days at a time treating locals.
I'd love to know where he lived and, if possible when he arrived and when he left. After leaving PE he came to Australia and set up a dental practice but his time prior to his arrival in PE and his activities there are a mystery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
