Cremation is planned for Anthony William ``Bill'' Yorkovich Jr., 73, Topeka.
Mr. Yorkovich died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at his home.
He was born April 25, 1924, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Anthony William Sr. and Elsie Wallace Yorkovich. He was an Army sergeant in the Seventh Infantry during World War II. He played minor league baseball and was a Blue Print Reader for 25 years for American Steel Works before retiring in 1975.
He married Loretta Jean Ward in Olathe on Nov. 24, 1967. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Lori Martin and Julie Mulford, both of Topeka, and Gloria White, Lenexa; five sons, William, New Jersey, Michael, Wayne, Tonganoxie, Bruce, Kansas City, Mo., and Mark, Illinois, and 13 grandchildren.
