The funeral for Mrs Elsie York, 90, was held on Friday morning at the Reising Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kansas, and at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mrs. York passed away on Tuesday in a Kansas City, Kansas, hospital. She was a retired janitor for the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City, Missouri. Mrs. York was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas.
She was survived by a son, Anthony York of Kansas City, Kansas; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Nowak of Kansas City, Kansas, and Mrs Mary Budenosky of Tonganoxie; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends called on Thursday evening at the Reising Funeral Home, where the Rosary was recited later that night. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
