According to Robert E. Bowman's 2000 article "Glimpses into the English and Continental Ancestry of Certain Braintree and Saugus Ironworkers of About 1650," Quentin Pray was baptized in Chiddingstone, Kent on November 23, 1595 and was the son of a Robert Pray.[1] No record of that baptism, however, can be found on ancestry.com, familysearch.org or findmypast.com.
