There's only one wife connected to this John and yet his notes state that it's uncertain which of his wives was mother to which children. That indicates multiple wives, so I checked to see what might be showing on Ancestry. I'm working on through the connections because I have a DNA match on Ancestry from these lines. Anyway, Ancestry shows:

Spouse: Mary Plumer
Married 1835
No children listed for her

Spouse: Monette Durant (1805–1863)
Children:
Celia "Sophia" (1830–1879)
Emziah (1838–1896)

Spouse: Nashoba "Jane" Jones FOLSOM (1812–1848)
Married 1831
Children:
Sophia C (1832–1894)
Jack (1835–)
LUCY (1836–)
Susan (Sukey) (1837–1894)

Spouse: Monette Durant (1824–1863)
Married 1851
Children
John (1831–1861)
Clarissa Clara (1848–1904)
Clarissa (1848–1904)
Jefferson Davis (1861–1928)

Notice that there are differing sets of dates for Monette Durant - one shows birth date of 1805 and the other 1824 but they have the same death date.

Only two of the wives have a date for their marriage, which should help sort their children. However, I see that that Monette is attributed as being the mother of children born before her 1851 marriage.

Nashoba "Jane" Jones FOLSOM has a marriage date of 1831, which makes her the 'seemingly' obvious mother for the children born before 1851.

There are some other trees with these same wives but additional children

One of those trees has Nashoba Jones (1812–1848) instead of Nashoba "Jane" Jones FOLSOM (1812–1848), which indicates Nashoba's maiden name was Jones. ?

This at least provides a bit more info for his various wives, gives some marriages dates that probably could use some confirmation, etc.

Ancestry Hints has a marriage record for John and Mary Plummer that shows:

Name John Folsom
Marriage 6 Apr 1835 Henniker, New Hampshire
Spouse Mary Plumer

and this record for the marriage with Monnett Durant

Name John Folsom
Marriage 23 Apr 1851 Mount Pleasant, Oklahoma, USA
Spouse Monnett Durant

I will attach screenshots of the marriage records under his Media tab.

I didn't see any record for his marriage to Nashoba "Jane" Jones FOLSOM

I don't think this John is the one who was married to Mary Plummer from New Hampshire. Their father's have the same names but their mothers are different and the geography doesn't fit.

Regarding

dau of Nashoba

I think her name is incorrect here on Geni. Multiple Ancestry trees show her name as Nashoba 'Jane' Jones and have her parents as:

Father
Samuel Jones (1765–1814)

Mother
Celia Jane Jones (1760–1814)

I'm from Mississippi and there is a Neshoba County there. I can't help but wonder if this 'Nashoba' name isn't a misspelling of someone being from Neshoba County. Just a thought.

However, all the Ancestry trees show Janey's birth as:

1812 - Newton County, Mississippi, USA - some have her born in the town of Oklafalaya and others in the town of Newton

They all show her death as:

1848 - Bennington, Kiamitia County, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory,
USA

I don't know if her family was from Neshoba County and that's how Nashoba got attached as part of her name since nothing on Ancestry indicates her father was named Neshoba, to account for her being listed here as 'daughte rof Nashabo'.

Regarding my previous post about Nashoba vs. Neshoba...one Ancestry tree has her father as:

Samuel Robert Neshoba Jones

and another tree has:

Samuel Neshoba Indian Name Jones

using the spelling of Neshoba as in the County in Mississippi, so that would explain why she's 'dau. of Nashoba', only it should be Neshoba.

If the Ancestry trees are correct, then this should be a link to Jane's father's profile:

Samuel "Nashoba" Jones

And that would make sense, regarding my DNA match with Jane's descendant because that Samuel Jones shows an inlaw connection to one of my lines. The DNA match and I share Native American DNA, so I like to tag the lines in my tree when I can figure out how we're related. I'm related to the Folsom line, but that connection is too far back for the DNA match. So, digging for clues!
