I have seen certain sources (e.g., FamilySearch family tree) which list Isaac Hite Bowman as the father of Hawkins Bowman, b. 1790 @hawkins bowman Hawkins is described in certain documents such as census records as being "Indian". As Isaac spent time as a young man with a Native American tribe and is said to have had an Indian spouse. Is anyone aware of documentation to substantiate this connection between Isaac and Hawkins?
Additionally, it appears that Isaac's list of children in his Geni profile needs some consolidation (i.e., certain children appear to be duplicates and should be merged).
