Can any help me? I am a direct descendant of Mereanna Korara and I have a kauwae moko which I thought my kuia had as well. I have been told by whānau in Opotiki that Mereanna Korara never wore a moko. Please if someone can whakatau this as I would hate to think that my kauwae moko does not whakapapa to anyone and that all this whakapapa is wrong.
