The ancestry of Ernst Sebastian II. von Manstein, auf Gut Juckstein is currently shown on Geni based on an ancestry chart published in 1758 and apparently based on unsourced family traditions (https://books.google.ru/books?id=u7YpAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA73&lpg=P...; linked on the Overview tab of his supposed father Ernst Sebastian I. von Manstein

There is a very different reconstruction of the family at https://digital.ub.uni-duesseldorf.de/ihd/periodical/pageview/8255653 (from the Gothaisches genealogisches Taschenbuch der adeligen Häuser, vol. 3, published in 1902). This is based on the archival reserch of family historian E. von Manstein, published as a separate book in 1907 called "Chronik des Geschlechts von Manstein" (not digitized anywhere, as far as I know; I was able to obtain a photographic copy from the Forschungsbibliothek (research library) Gotha).

According to the 1754 chart, Ernst Sebastian (here called Ernst Sebastian II) was the son of Ernst Sebastian, who together with his brother Christoph Valentin was the son of Hans III. This Hans, together with brothers Georg and Georg Wilhelm, was son of a Christoph IV, who was son of Hans I.

According to the 1902 genealogy, the Ernst Sebastian who died 1747 at Laack was the son of Christoph Valentin (not his brother Sebastian Ernst). Christoph Valentin, together with his brother Sebastian Ernst, was in turn the son of Georg, who was the son (not the brother) of Hans III, the son of Christoph IV.

I believe the 1902 reconstruction to be far more trustworthy than the 1754 one, and would suggest that the ancestry of Ernst Sebastian II. von Manstein, auf Gut Juckstein be revised accordingly.
