The parentage of Anna Catherine is reported variously in Internet family trees. These trees are lacking in primary and secondary sources, and where given, these sources cite other unsourced family trees. Some trees have Anna Catherine as a daughter of Daniel Heister of Berks County. The Heister family were prominent citzens in the area. Other Hiester trees make no mention of an Anna Catherine. Anna Catherine (Catharina) was a common given name in that era. I have found no compelling evidence that Jacob Bischoffberger II's first wife was the daughter of a Hiester male.
