I'm wondering if two Thomas Parkers may not be confused. There is nothing in the info I've found indicating that the Thomas Parker who was married to Elizabeth Holmes was of the nobility:

Biography
Thomas Parker, of Whitley Hall, was the father of Anne.

Anne married (1) Thomas Scargill (bur. 15 7th mo 1609) and (2) John Stacye of Ballifield, parish of Handsworth.

Sources
Annals of Smith of Cantley, Balby, and Doncaster, County York, 1878, p. 21, lists Thomas Parker of Whitley Hall as the father of daughter Anne who married John Stacye. The source doesn't give his birth or dates.

Sure articles like this that reference this Thomas would have indicated his parents and any family nobility if that were the case:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitley_Hall

but it only mentions that Thomas Parker acquired Whitley Hall and no other info on his family or connections

http://nostalgia.esmartkid.com/stacy.html

John STACYE, b. unknown in England (probably in Yorkshire), d. May 1593 in Ballifield, Handsworth, Yorkshire, England; m. to Anne PARKER (b. unknown, d. Jul 1609; daughter of Thomas PARKER & Elizabeth HOLMES);

So I Googled Thomas Parker and Elizabeth Holmes to see if I could find additional info and I still couldn't find anything to confirm the connection to nobility. Nowhere else do I see Anne (Parker) Stayce listed as Lady Anne Parker, etc., not even in her Ancestry Hints which is always pretty good about such documentation, especially since nobility is so well-documented in general.

Because of the lack of the usual documentation for Barons and their families, as connected to this particular Thomas and wife Elizabeth and daughter Anne (Parker) Stacye, I'm really doubtful about these titles, etc.

If there is actual sourced documentation for connections to nobility, that info should be added to the profiles. Otherwise, I feel two same-name Thomas Parkers have been confused.

The info on his Find-a-Grave page isn't sourced but it lists totally different parents for the Thomas Parker who was the father of Anne (Parker) Stacye:

Father: John Parker d. 1553
Mother: Elizabeth Hoyland

I don't like using titles on my family tree. I might add a note about it.
