I ma trying to get wrong info removed from my Mary Ellen O'Brien
This person does NOT belong in my tree. The person who added her seems to think that if he finds a name like Clancy it is automatically related.
In this case Mary Ellen Clancy may have parents John Clancy and Ellen Barry but they are not the John Clancy nd Ellen Barry listed in my tree.
If you look t the dates then I think it is obvious - My John Clancy nd Ellen Barry lived in Cork Ireland and died there in the 1880's. They never went to USA. Mary Ellen Clancy was apparently born in 1881 in USA. Ellen Barry would have been in her 70's and it is virtually impossible to have a child at that age in those days and also today.

John O'Gorman who entered the data for Mary Ellen also did a merge with the other Mary Clancy in the tree thus removing Mary Clancy from our tree. This was reversed by one of the Curators.
How can I fix them- we cant delete her apparently. I am assuming one of you can do so
