William David Lebowitz - Spouse / Spouses - Mother of Children

The Death Notice of an Ida Lebowitz clearly names her as the wife of a William Lebowitz and her children as the ones currently listed as this William's children: https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-evening-sun-obituary-for-ida...

However
1) it is not uncommon for a step--parent to be listed as a parent
2) many of these children were added because they were listed in death notices as a sibling of one or more of the others, and it is not uncommon for half-siblings to be listed as siblings.

Until I just added a profile for Ida as a spouse of William, his only spouse on Geni was Masha (Levencron) Lebowitz = Masha Lebowitz -- where does the information on Masha come from???
