I am confused about the naming convention here; her name is shown as "Joan de Wolverton (Belauney)". But the normal convention on here is that a woman's maiden name is shown in parens and their married name is shown like "de Wolverton" in this profile. But her maiden name is "de Wolverton" and I see no mention of what "Belauney" is.
I really wish that Geni had a standard naming convention. Women being listed and searched by their married name makes no sense. Their married name loses all connection to their ancestry, their maiden name being the surname of their father.
