Jane or Margaret Alexander (McClure), 2nd wife - father

It is doubtful she is the daughter of James McClure d. 1761 and Agnes Steele. Jean/Jane McClure clearly married William Givens, not Archibald Alexander. In the arrival record and in his will James mentions Jean (one arrival record has her as Jane) and in his will he mentions Jean and the will is administered by William Givens. There is no mention of a "Margaret" Jane married to Arichbald Alexander and Jean married to William Givens had different children over the same period of time. Hence, this Jane is clearly not the daughter of the James McClure of Tinkling Spring who died in 1761. She is perhaps the daughter of James Halbert McClure and Agnes McTavish but that too is not at all clear.
