Captain Robert William Hepburn - Captain Robert Hepburn's 2nd Step mother

I'm a descendant of Robert's father, Captain William Hepburn, who married in 1805 in Edinburgh to Sarah Vardy. I didn't know that Robert or Penelope existed. I'm in the process of trying to gather as many facts as I can find as this is all new to me as it will perhaps be to you. I need to do more investigating before I say any more. I found this out through court papers of Captain Robert Hepburn versus Sarah Vardy.
