A Ukrainian immigrant friend did some research; the only reference he found to Katrinendorf (Катарінендорф) was in a thesis in Ukrainian. That village was populated with people from Germany. It's part of the Vyznytsya district (Вижницький район, German: Bezirk Viznitz), in the Bukovina historical region, which is in NW Bessarabia.
Until 1918 this was part of Austria-Hungary. 1940 annexed by USSR. Now in western Ukraine on the Polish border.
