Charles Watson Waters, {Australian Immigrant} - Marriage

Hi
I notice that on Charles Watson Waters's timeline that he was married to Jane McDonald in 1837, we have been searching for a paper trail for him.
We have been thinking that they were married in 1843 as Samuel was born as McDonald not Waters.
We also cannot find anything as to how Charles came to Australia.
Any information would be grateful.
