Thomas Ellis, of Suffolk - How Geni Non-MPs Lead to Find A Grave Nonsense

Published in 2023 by FamilySearch are data supposedly derived from secondary or tertiary sources. It includes the christening date and place for Thomas Ellis, of Suffolk . The source from which extracted data was pulled is one that Google Books' search engine could not decipher. Nevertheless, I added its data, the FS link, and observations into the Overview.

For the sake of illustration in this discussion, I chose not to detach the assumptive parents— Nicholas Ellis and Unnici Ellis (Thurberne) —which have never been sourced.

Owing to these non-sourced and possibly now disproved parents, Philip Warren Rupp created a Find A Grave Bio that he states he based on Geni. He cobbled together a Find A Grave profile name involving the non-sourced mother's maiden name: THOMAS THURBERNE “(JOHN)” ELLIS.
