Second wife of John Longley Baty. As per "Cemetery Records of Effingham County Illinois," Vol. 5, compiled by Ann Crooker St. Clair Chapter DAR, 1981, p. 94; digital image, FamilySearch (https://dcms.lds.org/delivery/DeliveryManagerServlet?dps_pid=IE520306 : accessed 6 October 2018), she was buried in King Cemetery, Bishop Township. Headstone may no longer exist. As per the DAR record, in 1975, the headstone may have indicated she was "wife of J.L." and that she died October 21, 1875 at the age of 58 years.
