Date of will noted in the "about" was written in 1795. That does not fit if John died in 1734.
SC Archives indicate that there must be several John Johnstone's living in SC contemporaneously.
One seems to be in the upper coastal plan of Horry/Georgetwon.
One seems to be in Newberry district.
One seems to be in York District.
We know that siblings Gilbert, Elizabeth Keenan, and Thomas lived in the NC/SC ccoastal plain.
Gabriel and Samuel may be connected to the above siblings (and I suspect they were as Gilbert Sr. was a Jacobite trying to get out of Scotland, and Gabriel was known for facilitating immigration as a Gov. of NC) but not part of the immediate family. But Gabriel and Thomas don't belong here.
