This profile is commonly linked as a daughter to Christopher Almy and his wife Anne Clarke, but there is no proof.

I’ve also cleaned up / sourced / detached children of Robert Stanton, of Newport & Avis Stanton
To describe some of the confusion:

The narrative that in 1658 Harwood Long was accompanied by Mary Stanton is also found in Austin's Genealogical Dictionary[6] and Austin appears to be citing Bishop's New England Judged.[4] If this is the Mary Stanton of this profile supposedly born 1648, she is only aged 10 years. Whether Endicott would have sentenced a ten year old girl to be whipped is a question though his barbarity is well-known.
Austin (p 223) gives the wife of Pasco Whitford, son of Nicholas and Mary Pasco, as Mary Stafford (not Stanton). However, on page 389 of Austin[1], he gives Mary as a daughter of Robert (with no dates) and gives her husband as Pasco Whitford. Here Austin assigns eight children to Robert and Avis Stanton. He also assigns the same children found of Pasco Whitford and Mary Stafford on pg 223 to Mary Stanton and Pasco Whitford on pg 389. …
That would be Mary Whitford
Other Stanton children, apparently from Austin’s Genealogical Dictionary of Rhode Island, or more likely, GEDCOM from the old Ancestral File, are here:
