Rabbi Leizer Gordon - R' Eliezer Gordon: Dates, Places, People

There are three trees for R'Eliezer. The following notes are intended to help clean them up and merge them.

The following data comes from the three trees, various online biographies and LitvakSIG.

The trees are:

* Rabbi Leizer Gordon (most correct on ancestry, but only partially complete on children, siblings etc)
* Rabbi Eliezer Gordon (contains some incorrect ancestry, partial conflation with a different family in Vilnius with similar names)
* Rebbe Eliezer (Leizer) Gordon (bunch of incorrect merges that have created a bit of a mess)

DATES:

* 1838 - born in Chernian, bris in Svir (note that many biographies give 1840 or 1841)
* 1850s? - Studied at Zaretzer yeshiva in Vilna
* 1850s? - Studied at Yeshiva of R' Salanter in Kovno
* 1874 - Chief Rabbi of Kovno (3 months)
* 1874 - Chief Rabbi of Kelme (for 9 years)
* 1883 - Rabbi of Slabodka for 6 months
* 1883 - Appointed rav in Telz
* 1884 - Actually moved to Telz
* 1910 - Died in London

WIVES / CHILDREN:

Several kids likely conflated from Vilnius family (see below). Several kids in LitvakSIG that haven't been added. Where I don't have sources, I have noted.

* Note on the Vilnius tree: There are several births to Leizer ben Yosel / Tema bat Abram Khaim in Vilna in this period. The names are confusing, but their parents names differ!

ANCESTRY:

LitvakSIG clearly indicates in several records that R'Eliezer's father, Abram Shmuel Gordon, was from Svencionys.

I have the Svencionys Gordons documented to the best of my ability in my tree, going back to the earliest 19th century revision lists. They do not appear in the 18th century lists in Svencionys, but I've noted a possible match in the Smorgon lists from the 1760s/1790s.
