John Henderson of Inverkeithing - Overendowed with wives and children!

I'm writing about John Henderson of Inverkeithing, to ask if you have any evidence that he married Christian Broun. I know that WikiTree says they married, and some of their sources are trees at Ancestry, but I am looking for real evidence. Perhaps a marriage record from Scotlands People.

I doubt they did, because Christian Brown/Broun is not mentioned in Burke's Peerage, as represented by the well-researched set of web pages The Peerage.

I am a member of the Can Henderson Society, and we find that many people try to make links with the Fordell Line, and thus to the current Chief of the Henderson clan. I suspect that someone has created this marriage with the motive of linking the descendants of Christian and her husband (some other John Henderson) into the Fordell Line.

I'm disappointed that nobody has uploaded and cited any documents to support even the existence of Christian Brown/Broun, let alone her marriage into the Fordell Line.
