Sarra Salle was the daughter of Guillaume/William Salle' and a west central African woman both of whom are my 7th great grandparents. Guillaume/William Salle' had more children with my 7th great grandmother of west central African heritage. My 6th great grandmother Sarra-Sarrii Salle' born on April 24th 1734 in Manakin, Goochland, VA was mixed and had a child with my 6th great grandfather John Woolam born in 1730 in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England and died in 1802 at 72 years old in Goochland, Goochland, VA. the child they had together my 5th great grandfather John Andreas Ullom.
My family and I have taken autosomal DNA tests and some of us have west central African DNA results from the Bantu people of that region in Africa. My father's cousin has 2% Bantu Cameroonian DNA results from Ancestry.com. My results from 23 & me are .06% Nigerian, Congolese and Angolan. Are there any individuals using this site related to any of the offspring that Guillaume/William Salle' had with this west central African woman that are sourced in the Douglas register Huguenot immigration of the Huguenot settlement of Manakintown, Goochland, Virginia? My Gedmatch/Genesis DNA results when matched with DNA from around the world match with sub-Saharan African and Pygmy tribe DNA segments. I would love to break this brick wall and possibly find out my 7th great grandmother's name, trace her back to west central Africa?! It would be nice to find and meet cousins that have made this same discovery?
I made an error apparently there's another individual with a similar name to my 5th great grandfather John Andreas Woolam-Woolams. It's not John Andreas Ullom.
My 5th great grandfather John Andreas Woolam-Woolams was born in 1750 in Goochland, Virginia and died on Feburary, 24th, 1815 in Scott County, Kentucky at 65 years old. He was the son of John Woolam and Sarra-Sarrii Salle'.
