Unverified or "Putative"

I would like to bring to your attention that a "putative" relationship is an unverified relationship. An alleged or supposed relationship is referred to as "putative".

As a result, early settlers to the Cape of Good Hope with putative parentage are subject controversy, ending up in hours of unecessary time wasted.

A proposal to consider with regards to these first fifty years "putative" relations. Will it help if we can come to a consensus of whether to red flag or red card profiles confirmed to be "putative" in terms of relationship within the first fifty years at the Cape of Good Hope? Perhaps a "putative relationship project" linking these early profiles to a project page for a brief explanation to all users and possibly a curator note to the same effect on each such profile.
