Please correct locked field.
It won't even permit me to change the exact to after.

Benjamin Ward, Sr.
His will was written on April 18, 1820 and was probated in August of 1820. He died sometime between then.

Date updated.

Is he not DAR #A120458?

Yes, he is DAR A120458

I restored it to profile.

DAR and his will say he died in Ashe county, NC after he wrote his will on 18 April 1820

Two DAR proved children, Duke (& his two wives listed) and Elizabeth.
The others are named in his will.

Burial location is listed at FindAGrave as Ward Cemetery, Vilas, Watauga County, North Carolina, United States and Brittany defined death as before May 1.

Put notes in about, and I’ll revisit tomorrow if need be.

His great grandmother was a Ward

My nearest Ward is my fifth great grandmother Tahphenes Webber
but I try to make sure the Ward lines look correct whenever I come upon them here

Thank you, as always, Erica Howton

Hi. Benjamin Ward's death was sometime between April 18, 1820 & August 1820, his will was probated in August. I added that to the sources.

Also, for this death location, I think it should be changed, the county anyways, to Ashe. Watauga County was not formed until 1849. There are census records from 1800 & 1810 showing him residing in Ashe County.

Updated death date & location.

Cool. Thanks!
