William Henry Frelick - Probable error - inconsistency

There is a curious record of William Henry Frelick (1834-1842) posted in Family Search in 2012 by rcooke3129571, showing detailed dates of birth, christening, burial, and death of this individual who died before his eighth birthday. It also shows his marriage to Mary Ellen West in 1875 and death in 1892, with another record of death in 1895. I presume the later marriage and death dates are errors.

My great-grandfather (by the same name) is well documented as being born ten years later on a different day in 1844. He became a sea captain, married Mary Ellen West, and was lost at sea in 1899. I am quite certain, supported by many sources, about the details of my great-grandfather.

I have posited that perhaps my great-grandfather was named after his brother who had died young. There is another problem with the record of the first William Henry Frelick. He would have been born 77 days after his sister, Elizabeth Frelick.
