Geni frowns on purposely creating duplicates. But it also frowns mightily on merging people who are not the same.
A set was created for folks it was variously suspected to believed were duplicates, but they definitely are going by different names.
I think it may be time to look and decide whether we actually have duplicates here.

that is an 1898 Family List for "Gerts Potashchik" and his wife and children.
It seems very likely it is the same as the family of Herbert (Herzl) Bloom ( Herbert (Herzl) Bloom ) -
with Herbert (Herzl) Bloom ( Herbert (Herzl) Bloom ) = Gerts Potashchik ( Hertz Potashchik )
His oldest child, his son David Walter Bloom ( David Walter Bloom ) who was born 1879 per his Death Certificate being David Potashchik ( David Potashchik ) who is shown as age 18 in 1898 so born about 1880 - so that matches
Then his daughter Sarah (Bloom) Cohen ( Sarah Cohen ) who is 20 on her 1904 Marriage Record, born Dec. 5, 1884 on her Gravestone would be Sora Tserna Potashchik ( Sora Tserna Potashchik ) listed as 17 in 1898
His daughter, currently showing to me as <private> (Bloom) Siegel ( Не показывать ) would be Mere. Potashchik ( Mere Libes )
His daughter Lillian (Lilly) (Bloom) Drosd ( Lillian (Lilly) Drosd ) would be Libe Potashchik ( Libe Potashchik )
And his last wife, Rose (Potastik) Bloom ( Rose Bloom ) would be the wife listed on the 1898 Family List, Rokhe Feige Potashchik ( Rokhe Feige Potashchik )
At first glance, this may seem very unlikely to many given the big difference between the surnames Potashchik and Bloom
However, Civil Marriages were expensive, so often Jews did the Religious Marriage but not the Civil - in which case the children officially went by the Mother's Birth Surname there unless and until the Parents got married, as is explained in this article: https://bloodandfrogs.com/2011/01/religious-marriages-civil-marriag...
And Geni shows the Birth Surname of Herbert's last wife, Rose, as Potastik.
