There is no evidence that this person existed. He was not the father of Michael McGee (1730-1787). Many claim this man as William McGehee (1702-1796), but the there are still inconsistencies in the family trees for these people.
Michael McGee (1730-1787) was the son of William “McGee” who is found in the Edgecombe County, NC records as early as 1733. William McGehee was still in Virginia during this time and is found in records there through the mid to late 1700s.
