Hidden Profile

I had a Y DNA match it someone named "Hidden Vitt". It is the first YDNA match after many years and pertains to my paternal great grandfather who was born illegitimately in Germany in 1864. His mother was a Vitt as well so maybe a cousin relationship here?

Because its Hidden I cannot contact the person to get more details. Can I rely on Geni Y DNA matches? This would be my first match in 15 years when I fist tested. Is there any means to contact this person - assuming he is not reading this discussion. I would very much like to contact him.
