Felix Jacob Frauenfelder, III - Felix burial place

Felix Frauenfelder is buried at Maidencreek Friends Burial Ground in Maidencreek township, Berks county, Pennsylvania. He is buried with his wife Elizabeth and their son Hans Ulrich Frauenfelder and his wife Margaretta. I live in Maidencreek township. Ive been to the cemetery and have seen the grave markers. The family had settled in Maidencreek township around 1750. Where they lived is now underwater of Lake Ontelaunee, which is the reservoir for the Reading areas drinking water. The dam was built in the late 1920s subsequently flooding the surrounding areas. The graveyard was also flooded. They dug up all the graves and moved them to the location of the Maidencreek Meeting House located further north. They were re-buried there.
