John C Chambers - Many John Chambers were pioneers in the Midwest.

I may or may not have started this entry. But, if so, the John C. Chambers described here now is NOT my John Chambers born abt. 1749 likely in what is now West Virginia and died in Pike County, Indiana on 22 June 1824. He was married to a Rachel unk. born abt. 1765 likely in Virginia and died after1850 census in Indiana. Their first born was named Rachel (b.1788 - died after census 1860 in Knox County, Indiana) and she is well documented as marrying and divorcing Joseph Phillips and remarrying my 3rd great gf David Miles Welton (1787-1851).
