By the authority in me vested by the Law of the Cherokee Nation, I do hereby Grant License of marriage to Franklin Andrews, a citizen of the United States and of good moral character and of industrious habits to marry Miss Mary Matoy, a Cherokee by birth and a daughter of Eliza Dougherty. He (Franklin Andrews) having complyed (sic) with the requirements of the Law regulating intermarriage with white man, Given from under my hand in office this the 17th day of Sept 1869.
