The parents connected here were born in Ireland and England and both died in Virginia. This William is shown as being born and died in North Carolina. So their geography doesn't fit.
I can't find any consensus about who his parents were, some sites just don't list any.
On Ancestry I found a different William Early with this info::
ABT. 1622 • Donegal, Ireland
DEATH 6 May 1711 Middlesex, Virginia,
which fits better with the parents connected here. Hs wife was also Elinor, but he has different parents:
Father: Thomas Early / Harley (1598–1661)
Mother: Anne Treffy (1598–1621)
So I don't know if the info on two William Early's have gotten confused and errors perpetuated in various trees or who has it correct.
