Jordon Anderson - NOT The son of Margaret Easter and Jordon Anderson Jr

Some folks working on this Anderson family line have connected this Jordon Anderson to a Jordon Anderson, Jr and Margaret Easter who lived in Mecklenburg and, later, Chesterfield County in Virginia. While the names and timelines are tantalizingly close, the facts argue against this. We know that this Jordon Anderson (b. 1793) stated in the 1860 federal census for Mercer County, Ohio that he was born in Delaware. We also know that he enlisted in the Pennsylvania Volunteers at Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1814. Lancaster is very near the northern part of Delaware. On the other hand, I have seen no evidence that Jordon Anderson Jr and Margaret Easter ever traveled further than Chesterfield County, Virginia. Further, birth records for their family do not show a son named Jordon Anderson born in 1793. If anyone has come up with actual evidence that these two families were one line I would love to see it.
