Walter Black Wat Adair - Walter Adair

Walter did not have a middle name. He was called "Black Wat" to differentiate him from his cousin by the same name who was known as "Red Wat."

He was not the father of Benjamin Franklin Adair; the Benjamin who married Eliza was Walter's half brother, the son of John Adair and Jane Kilgore.
