Regarding Alice Kappel: Alice most probably was also murdered in Auschwitz. Her name is listed on a deportation list together with the names of her husband Rene and her daughters Lucy and Yvonne. The transport came from the transit camp Maline/Mechelen and left the camp oin 20 September, 1943, as XXIIb transport RSHA. In that transport 794 people were deported to Auschwitz where most of them were murdered upon arrival: the 22.09.1943. It is not known whether some of them were selected for forced labor, it is only known that the major part of the transport was gassed the same day.
