My 4th great grandparents were a second set of John Osborn b. 1735 and his wife Elizabeth Claypool b. 1739. Their tree traces back to Adam Claypool/ Cleypoole of Northampton and his wife Dorothy Wingfield. ADAM IS THE BROTHER OF THE FIRST SET OF John Osborne b. 1563 and Elizabeth Cleypool who lived in Cranfield, Bedfordshire after they married.
SO THERE IS DOCUMENTATION of Elizabeth Claypool being the wife of John Osborne b. 1563. There is documentation of Elizabeth being a Claypool and not that funny name of Gooding Goodnight!
