I am trying to find the parents of Mary Hearn who m. Thomas Patton 9 May 1779 at St. Paul's Church, Baltimore, MD. Thomas Pattan served under Henry Ridgely, Jr. a known resident of Anne Arundel Co. along with Edward Hearn in 1776. The Hearne data I have is mostly from BRIEF HISTORY AND GENEALOGY OF THE HEARNE FAMILY by William T. Hearne, I, MO 1907. There are Hearns in the St. Paul's records in Baltimore and there are Hearns in Anne Arundel. Michael Hearn ca. 1750 to 1813 has daus Sophia m. Edward Iglehart 15 Dec. 1788, and Anne m. Cornelius Iglehart 4 Feb. 1803. John Hearn m. Mary Summers 20 May 1807. The Pattons were also from Somerset Co. before Anne Arundel County. But I think if I could find out more about this Edward Hearn that served with Thomas Patton in 1776, then I might find the parents of Mary Hearn.
