Annette Marie Collins - Saving Trove

Trove is under threat. It currently doesn't have funding after this FY. It is an amazing free resource with millions of digital resources for historians, family researchers and the curious, run by the National Library of Australia. It has a huge collection of Australian newspapers. If you are an Australian researcher please consider signing a petition.

Action is needed now. You can sign a petition. There are petitions that can be accessed through the Australian Parliament website at https://www.aph.gov.au/e-petitions and scroll down to petitions EN4747 or EN4745. These petitions are only open for 28 days and close on February 22. The petition at change.org has been presented to Parliament on February 8 but there is still time to sign an e-petition at the link above.
