Incorrect parentage for Sarah A Cooper Hamby

Ellis Thompson (BIRTH ABT. 1821 • Youngs, Laurens, South Carolina; DEATH 1893 • Laurens, South Carolina, USA) is showing incorrectly with a two daughters named Sarah. Ellis did have one daughter named Sarah E Thompson. The other Sarah was actually Sarah Ann Cooper BIRTH 20 APR 1841 • Georgia, USA DEATH 18 JULY 1911.

That Sarah never left Georgia for any detectable time. She had married a James E Thompson there in her first marriage, so her second marriage showed as Sarah A Thompson when she later married a J. P. Hamby. Similarity in dates between my relative in SC and the Sarah Cooper Hamby in Georgia, seems to have confused some people. It doesn't help that for a while Ancestry THRULINES showed Sarah A and Sarah E both as daughters of Ellis.
