This is a Germanna immigrant and so the Germanna Foundation has records for him.
Unfortunately these get very mixed up in public trees and as much as I love Ancestry, their "hints" and "Thrulines" sometimes do little to help... Same with FamilySearch since even though they may have free access to records, the records get attached to the wrong profiles.
