The notes in the About section refer to his father as Roger:
"Roger's son, William de Bosville of Oxmuir, &c., was witness in a donation to the monastery of Soltray by Bernard do Houden, in the reign of King Alexander the Third."
and yet his connected father is named Adam. Other trees show this William was, as the notes indicate, the son of Roger who was the son of Adam, making Adam this William's grandfather rather than his father.
There's not much info in their profiles, so the above referenced notes from this William's profile is all the parental documentation I see here on Geni.
