There does not seem to be any evidence [apart from some later and unsupported claims in Burke's) that Margaret ever was or even claimed to be a "Comtesse". She was born Margaret Saunders, the daughter of Edward and Margaret Saunders of Tunbridge, Kent [from her marriage licence].
On the 10th Feb 1745/46 at the French Chapel of St James, she married Charles Marsac, son of Charles and Jane Marsac.
So, the "Marsac" part of her name is not a noble title, but her husband's surname.
Her husband Charles Marsac died in 1751, and in 1753, Joachim Lorenze Sollicoffer/Sollicofer leaves money, plate ^ clothing to Mrs. Margaret Marsac, widow & her son Charles Marsac, the Godson of Mr. Sollicoffer.
Margaret Marsack [nee Saunders] then married on 4th Jan 1754/55 to John Houlcroft. [he died in 1768 & mentions his dear wife Margaret in his will, along with children Dinah Robinson, Margaret, Dorothy Ann, John & James. Margaret died as Margaret Houlcroft.
When his half sister Margaret Houlcroft died, she left the guardianship of her illegitimate children [by William Roome] & the management of her Estate to her half brother Charles Marsack. It is apparently the descendants of these "Roome" children who spread the story of the Royal relationship with their family.
So, since there is no evidence of any relationship with the Prince of Wales, she did not ever use any title & Marsac was in fact her first husbands name, there seems no reason to have this non-existent relationship in her profile. Can it be removed? The father of her son should be her husband Jean Charles Marsack.
