1. WikiTree Native American Project indicates that Chief James Vann and wife Jennie Foreman had one child named Sarah.

2. The profile purports the of a child of Chief James Vann but has him married to the mother of Chief James Vann. Research into names indicates that Clement was never used as a middle name for a Cherokee. There appears to be some confounding here with the 2nd husband of Wha-li mother of Chief James Vann whose name is also erroneously James Clement Vann.

3. The names of half brothers and sisters is consistent with the generation of the children of Chief James Vann however the WikiTree Native American Project does not mention a child of this name belonging to any of his 9 wives.
